Physiotherapy
We have incorporated physiotherapy into our approach so that we can promote a comprehensive transfer from active treatment to patient rehabilitation. Once your symptoms have reduced active physiotherapy can facilitate your return to normal activity and will help reduce the tendency for your symptoms to return. This can be particularly invaluable in postural re-education for VDU users. Those who have to regularly lift and post pregnancy. There are many other conditions, which have very specific needs for individuals to improve muscle balance and control. The relationship we enjoy with our physiotherapists is an important development and almost unique to our practice.
Joint Health
Dr Simon Rudland BM BS BMedSci DA DRCOG MRCGP
Time to be listened to - Joint Health creates an opportunity for time with an experienced practitioner. Local GP’s have a reputation for providing excellent care, but the NHS is overwhelmed. Often GP’s do not have the required time to discuss and work through problems. Joint Health provides longer consultations, with an experienced doctor, which will give all the time required to explore and resolve unique physical and psychological health concerns.
Health Screening
Patients reach a point in their life when they need a health MOT, but a barrage of expensive and meaningless tests says little about what is needed to improve health. Our health screening uses investigations focused on individual health priorities. This information is a powerful tool when it comes to creating a plan of action, which will help improve health and wellbeing.
