Inspired by Dr Milton Erickson – the pioneer of modern hypnopsychotherapy – Debbie spent seven years at Cambridge University training to be a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Person Centred Counsellor.
Dr Erickson said, “Every person has all the resources they need to overcome any problem in life…but they may not always have them in the right order”. And in 2007, Debbie set up Morpheus Associates to help people who want to restore that order.
She treats clients for a variety of concerns, including:
- bereavement (CRUSE)
- chronic health conditions
- eating disorders
- exam preparation
- pain management
- smoking cessation
- sports performance
- stress management
- weight management
Debbie is continually developing her knowledge of the latest methods and techniques by regularly attending conferences, workshops and continuing professional development (CPD) seminars.
Every day, she gets the opportunity to help someone initiate the changes that will make a difference to their lives. She finds this tremendously rewarding and enjoys helping clients to achieve their goals.
Debbie likes to walk her two dogs, keep fit, cook and spend time with her family including her grandchildren.
