Natasha Goodchild

Cognitive behavioural therapy

Natasha is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and EMDR therapist with a wealth of experience across a variety of settings including the NHS and private practice. With a focus on group and individual therapy, her background in mental health nursing means she’s worked at in-patient care settings as well as in the community.

In 2003, Natasha completed a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT at the University of East Anglia and is accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). She regularly attends training courses to update practice and further her knowledge base.

In 2015, Natasha completed all of the EMDR training course. EMDR is an evidence-based psychotherapy that’s effective in treating symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as other mental health problems.

Natasha is passionate about offering individual, client-focused therapy in a supportive environment. Her experience reflects a particular interest in depression, anxiety problems (including social anxiety and health anxiety), PTSD, low self-esteem, and chronic pain. She also specialises in managing and improving symptoms of chronic illness, including chronic fatigue.
